The Discovery

After many long days going from the gym to the office to the trails, we discovered that the usual performance socks we depended on weren't cutting it anymore. We decided to take matters into our own hands and discovered the magic of alpaca fibers.

We spent two years researching and testing the best places to source alpaca fibers, the best type of alpaca fibers to use, and the best way to turn magical alpaca fibers into trustworthy performance socks.

Alpaca fibers have a semi-hollow core that act like natural insulation allowing the fibers to trap warm air when it’s cold, and release heat when warm.

Unlike synthetic fibers that tend to overheat, or wool that can feel stifling, alpaca adapts to your environment, making it perfect for unpredictable weather, long workdays, or shifting seasons.

Alpaca fiber is naturally lightweight and breathable allowing it to adapt to any temperature while keeping you comfortable even in the harshest conditions.

Alpaca fibers are naturally smooth, and have a lower scale structure—meaning no coarse, or itchy feeling you get with wool.

Alpaca also lacks lanolin (the greasy coating found in sheep’s wool) making it hypoallergenic and ideal for sensitive skin.

MOISTURE
WICKING

Alpaca fibers naturally repel moisture thanks to their low absorption rate, about 8% versus wool’s 30%, and cotton’s 60%. Alpaca fiber draws sweat and moisture away from your feet and release it into the air before it has a chance to soak in.
